Nebraska’s new financial advancement executive was affirmed Thursday by officials who lauded him for his business experience.
Legislators casted a ballot 42-0 to put Tony Goins, of Lincoln, accountable for the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. Gov. Pete Ricketts designated Goins in July.
Goins replaces Dave Rippe, who ventured down as the executive to come back to his home in Hastings.
Goins fills in as chief of Branded Products for Lincoln Industries, where he drives a business group answerable for secondary selling truck and Harley Davidson parts.
